A comfortable, old world charm gem. We stayed over for one night as we had an evening function in Hopefield and didn't want to drive the 40 minutes back home at night. What a little "old world charm" gem. The owners have kept the hotel in its original form in terms of furnishing and the public areas, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, the tea and coffee tray well stocked, and the toiletries high quality. Safe off-street parking was provided. We enjoyed a wonderful sleep in a quiet room overlooking a tropical garden. It was very convenient to walk to and from our function. We will definitely stay again.

For 2 nights, it was fine. Nice and quiet. We were disappointed that the kitchen was closed for renovations and we had to find our own restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We only found out on the morning we checked in. The bar was very smoky, so we took our drinks elsewhere. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would still recommend it as the hotel is spotlessly clean, the green tropical garden in the courtyard is lovely, as is the pool!

Hi Karon, I am sorry about our restaurant that was closed, and also sorry for only letting you know on the morning of check-in. We tried our best to have the kitchen ready for breakfast before the weekend, but realised that morning that it is best to rather refer our guests to other restaurants. It was pleasant; however, the bar gets very rowdy. A plus would be free WiFi and the offer of a room with a shower.

Hi Anita Thanks for your feedback. We do apologise for the rowdiness. We were celebrating the opening of our new restaurant and it was much busier than we expected. We do, however, have a very strict rule to close the bar by 22:00 on weekdays and 23:00 on weekends to ensure that there is peace and quiet in the hotel at night. We do offer free WiFi and have rooms with showers. We know baths are somewhat of an issue for some people, so we made sure our description of the rooms is very clear. All our classic rooms only have baths and our self-catering suites only have showers. I do hope you would visit us again. Thanks, Jacques

Vriendelike diens en akkommoderend tot enige navraag. Ons ervaring was fantasties. Kamers was pragtig en skoon. Beddens sag en meer as genoeg komberse en kussings gehad. Heerlike bad- en stortgeriewe gehad en wonderlike en vriendelike diens.

Dit was heel okay. Dit was okay. Ons het ekstra betaal vir die ontbyt. R100. Nie die moeite werd nie. Hulle kan meer gee vir die R100.
