Crestwood is situated in the heart of the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, along the Curry's Post Road. The estate boasts a set of grand gates and a tree-lined driveway, that leads to the main house, cottage, stables, tack room and honeymoon suite.
The main thatched house comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 lounges, a kitchen and a dining room. Each room contains a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds on request. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and utensils, and the spacious lounge downstairs has a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings.
The swimming pool and entertainment area offer scenic views.
Accommodation is also offered in 3 garden suites, a honeymoon suite, a self-catering cottage, and a family room. The garden suites offer mountain and pool views and are conveniently located to nearby parking. The honeymoon suite is situated outside the main house and has a private entrance. This suite features panoramic mountain views and is ideal for brides to get ready with their bridesmaids. The self-catering cottage has its own kitchen and a private patio with mountain views. The family room is situated outside the main house, below the honeymoon suite.
The estate offers facilities for weddings; a popular choice is to have the wedding ceremony by the dam, as well as the reception in a marquee next to the dam. The rock pool and fountain, tree-lined driveway and forest areas provide ideal locations for wedding photos.
There are a number of activities for guests to enjoy at Crestwood. The estate is 21 hectares with rolling green manicured lawns, suitable for horse riding or quad biking. Bosch Hoek Golf Club is located 6 km away for golfers. Guests can also visit Karkloof Nature Reserve, which offers hiking, mountain biking and popular canopy tours.
