Dankbaar is situated in the beautiful coastal village of Struisbaai. The house is close to the picturesque harbour, beach, and shops.

Accomdation is provided in the main house and an apartment that is booked seperatly.

The main house comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can accommodate 11 guests. The open-plan living area offers a lounge, a dining area, and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, hob and oven, microwave and a kettle. The living area comprises a lounge with comfortable seating and a TV as well as an indoor braai. The living area has a bar-area with a fridge-freezer and leads to a patio with seating and lovely views of the ocean.

The apartment is under the main house and comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom contains a double bed and cot and the second bedroom contains 2 bunk beds. The living area is open-plan and the kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a stove, an oven, crockery, and cutlery. The lounge has a comfortable couch and a TV as well as a dining table. The apartment leads out onto a verandah with outdoor seating and mobile braai facilities. The entrance and patio is private from Dankbaar Huis.

Struisbaai prides itself on its beautiful beach that stretches 14 km from Struisbaai to Arniston. The beach is a fantastic spot for water sports like kayaking, boating, surfing, body boarding, fishing, and kite surfing, as well as shell collecting, beach strolls, and whale watching. Keep an eye out for the beautiful giant sting rays that live in these sheltered waters, some of which are 2 m long.
