Description

De Cango Farm offers off-the-grid guest units and is located in the Klein Karoo, approximately 30 km from central Oudtshoorn. The farm is ideal as a base to explore the surrounding attractions, such as the Cango Caves that are within 10 km away from the farm.

Accommodation at De Cango Farm comprises various comfortably decorated units, which can accommodate 2 persons in each. Each unit features an open-plan bath and a washbasin, including a partially enclosed toilet. Each unit contains a wood-burning fireplace and opens onto a patio.

Breakfast and other meals can be arranged in advance. The main reception area boasts a homely lounge area, a built-in braai facility; and a deck with patio furniture overlooking the mountains and river.

The solar and gas-powered farm is completely off-the-grid and grows lucerne and lavender. Guests are welcome to take leisure walks, go jogging, and cycling on the gravel roads around the farm and the fenced-off game areas. Guests will often spot free-roaming buffalo and antelope as well.

The area is renowned for ostriches, olive and wine farms, MTB trails, trail running and other attractions for guests to visit during their stay.
