Deo Resta Guest Lodge is situated on a peaceful smallholding in the historic community of Moolman, a 15-minute drive from Piet Retief in Mpumalanga. Moolman is located 1 km from the main route to the North- and South Coast vacation destinations in KwaZulu Natal.

The lodge, previously the Moolman Primary School, has been transformed into a unique guesthouse. The old school building has been converted into 3 lovely, spacious rooms that will provide comfortable, quality accommodation for business travellers or families looking for a convenient overnight stop on their way to their holiday- or business destination. 3 brand-new rooms have recently been added as demand has increased for guests to stay at the guest house.

The spacious units feature comfortable beds, bathrooms with showers, the necessary overnight kitchen facilities,, complimentary Wi-Fi and a TV with DStv, a private patio as well as secure parking. Braai facilities, charcoal, fire lighters and matches are available.

The large gardens with a natural swimming pool, in a tranquil surrounding contribute to the calm atmosphere that guests experience when visiting Deo Resta Guest Lodge.

The building is nearly 110 years old and care has been taken during maintenance to keep as much of the old building as possible.

Guests come to explore the area around Piet Retief for the rich South African history surrounding it. Swaziland is a mere 30-minute drive from the lodge and can make for an exciting day trip.
