Die Plaashuis is a charming self-catering cottage located on the R316 on Mierkraal Farm in Napier. This farmhouse offers a delightful blend of rustic character and modern comfort, making it an ideal escape for families or groups looking to unwind in a serene, natural environment. The house’s classic Oregon pine sliding sash windows, wooden shutters, and antique furnishings create an authentic country experience on a working farm.

The farmhouse can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and features 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom also contains a double bed and opens directly onto the veranda and garden, providing easy access to the outdoors. The third bedroom is perfect for children or additional guests, offering 3 single beds and an extra mattress. This room also has direct access to the veranda and garden. Guests in the second and third bedrooms share a separate bathroom fitted with a shower.

The living area offers a warm and inviting space for relaxation and socialising. It features a large braai, comfortable seating, a TV, and an 8-seater dining table for shared meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, gas stove-oven combination, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and a 6-seater table. A cosy fireplace in the kitchen, paired with a charming reading nook, provides the perfect spot to unwind with a book on chilly evenings.
