Description

Die Ponthuis is a self-catering cottage situated on the banks of the Sonderend River with stunning views of the Riviersonderend Mountain range. It is the perfect place to get away from it all, relax and enjoy the calmness of nature in the peaceful and rural atmosphere of the Overberg. The quaint and picturesque town of Greyton is only 17 km away and is renowned for its arts, and crafts, Saturday morning market and many great restaurants.

Die Ponthuis comprises 1 bedroom and can accommodate 2 guests. The self-catering unit features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a bath, shower, basin and toilet. The unit also boasts a wood-fired hot tub and Wi-Fi. The indoor fireplace and lovely décor will ensure many cozy evenings. Both indoor and outdoor braai facilities are available which will allow guests to view the most amazing sunsets from the big verandah. Firewood for the cold evenings are also provided.

The farm has a tennis court, so guests can bring their own racket and tennis balls. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the river in front of the cottage, bring their own canoe, take a stroll on the farm, or indulge in some bird watching.
