Die Tuishuise & Victoria Manor are located in the heart of Nxuba (Cradock), Eastern Cape. Die Tuishuise have beautifully restored Victorian-era Karoo-style guest houses lining historic Market Street and leading up to Victoria Manor, a grand, colonial hotel circa 1848. Period prints and antique furniture create elegant spaces within the cottages, reflecting the lifestyles of the English and Dutch Settlers at the turn of the century.
Die Tuishuisie free-standing units range from 2- to 6 sleepers and consist of either one, two, or three bedrooms that are equipped with double or single beds as well as either 1 or 2 bathrooms that have a shower, bath, basin, and toilet. The units are equipped with a kitchenette that has a bar fridge, microwave, two-plate stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The Tuishuise 4-Sleeper House includes 2 bathrooms of which 1 has a bathroom with a roll-in shower and grab rails.
The Family Room consists of 2 inter-leading rooms and is suited to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double bed and bedroom 2 is furnished with 2 single beds. Both rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Other facilities include a fan, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV, and Wi-Fi.
There is also a 4 sleeper one bathroom cottage, suited to accommodate 4 guests. The first bedroom comes furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom comes furnished with 2 single beds. Other in-room facilities include a bathroom fitted with a bath and shower, a lounge area, and a kitchenette fitted with a fridge, microwave, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities.
A communal splash pool, full dining facilities for all meals and safe off-street parking are available at the Victoria Manor hotel for all guests. Some of the units are pet friendly, please enquire about this so that we can ensure you are booked into the correct unit.
For relaxation of the body and mind, Die Tuishuise & Victoria Manor has a health, beauty and wellness centre called 'Karoo Comfort Zone' that offers deep pressure massages and are well known amongst local residents and annual visitors.
