Highly recommended for a stay in Constantia. We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting family in Cape Town. The location was excellent for Constantia and surrounding suburbs. The rooms were perfectly balanced in terms of simplicity and function. We managed to park our bike trailer in the venue as well as the car and two unloaded bikes. If busy, parking inside the gate might be a little challenging. Breakfasts were superb, but most of all, our hosts were just amazing.

Baie netjies en het gevoel soos 'n koning. Vriendelike en baie behulpsame en akkommoderende personeel. So mooi dat jy nie die plek wil verlaat nie.

Baie aangenaam met vriendelike diens. Ons is vriendelik ontvang en diens was goed. Kinderoppasser was vriendelik. Ons kon nie normale ontbyt eet nie, maar hulle het gesorg dat ons elke aand 'n skinkbord met vars vrugte, vrugtesap, muesli en yogurt met vars koffie kry.

The delivery of personalized service, the birth place of one on one relation. As a frequent traveler and hospitality consultant, I am very impressed with Dongola House. Attention to detail is noted 5 out of 5, the ability to focus on guest's needs are taken into consideration and pays off well. Thank you to Natalie at reception for her lovely hospitality, welcoming us as we entered the property. She offered us a beverage at check-in. Our room was not ready when we arrived, but she expressed her sincere apology and noted that it would be ready in 7 minutes. The fact that she had given a time is another tick in the box, as most service professionals does not recognize a factor to their apology. Our room was ready in 6,43 minutes (yes I counted), and that impressed me! Sally the general manager is a very well educated and experienced lady. She know's what she's talking about and have constructive conversations with the guests. Owner's of guest houses are frequently caught out to make small talk just to make you feel at ease. There is another factor that is important about this property. Their staff (seemed to me) is happy to be there. There is nothing more warming and soothing to realize as a manager, that your staff want to be at work. When your staff feels well, they will perform well too. Hospitality means: "to love and care for the unknown"... Dongola House does this perfectly. Fantastic property and great team! Keep up the good work.
