Lovely, well-equipped cottage. We had a lovely stay at Ema's Nest. It's the perfect location for a calm, serene stay in nature. We cycled and hiked nearby, and the Wilderness village/Sedgefield is about a 10-minute drive away. I would highly recommend this cottage for people who appreciate nature and want to get away to relax. Fiona was so attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at Ema's Nest Cottage. Our stay at Ema's Cottage was everything we had hoped it would be - the only negative was that our stay was too short! Fiona is truly a lovely host - from contacting us before our stay to provide info on possible outings we could do with our toddler, to the homely welcoming message and snacks. The thought and consideration that went into making our stay as enjoyable as possible was truly appreciated. We really enjoyed the secluded location of the cottage which provided peace and quiet that is lacking in the city. The location is a fantastic base for day trips around the Garden Route. We enjoyed sitting on the stoep, exploring the garden, spotting wildlife and waking up and looking out of the windows into the forest. Fiona went out of her way to make us feel at home and we will definitely visit again.

Fantastic host, was made to feel extremely welcome, would definitely return. Absolutely beautiful accommodation and surroundings. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is definitely the place to stay.

Amazing. What a gem of a cottage. Fiona was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We made a fire in the indoor fireplace at night and it kept the whole cottage warm and cozy.

Baie skoon, netjies en ten volle toegerus met alles wat jy nodig kan kry. Wat 'n pragtige plekkie! Ons het heerlik gebly by Ema's Nest en sal die kothuis aan almal aanbeveel. Ons het heerlik voëls gekyk en luister. Heerlike "sundowners" geniet met die bos reg voor die voorstoep. Alles was so lekker, vars en skoon en netjies. Ek het dit gemerk op die webtuiste en sal beslis weer daar bespreek I die toekoms.

We all enjoyed it, an experience that is for a lifetime. Very organised place. It was great, the house is very spacious, cosy and friendly, quite location if you are looking for peace and bonding with your partner or friends. The host/hostess is very friendly; they even went the extra mile for us and they are reachable when you need them.
