Description
Freek's Cottage Farm Stay is situated on a working Karoo farm, close to Murraysburg. Here, one can interact with horses, sheep, cattle, angora buck and so much more. Come and enjoy our hospitality, tranquillity, and wide open spaces.
This self-catering cottage can accommodate up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed while the other bedroom has 2 single beds. Bedding and towels are supplied. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and 2 seperate toilets.
The unit also offers a fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include an indoor braai area. Outside, there is a lapa with braai facilities.
Please note that the cell phone signal is very weak, but limited WiFi is provided. There is no TV. The unit has solar power and is not dependent on Eskom at all.
Guests are welcome to bring their own mountain bike and explore the farm roads or go out on the river for freshwater fishing. Other activities include bird watching and hiking. Pets who are vaccinated are also welcome by prior arrangements, but guests must bring their own dog bedding and bowls.
