We absolutely loved our stay! This was our 2nd time back. Absolutely fantastic! Would recommend to anyone who loves fishing and relaxing by the ocean. You completely feel at home when you are here. The only downfall is my time is never enough. My family and fur babies enjoyed this spot. Trust me, you will not go wrong booking this place. Aside from being beautiful, it is a great way to take your mind off the busy city life. We will definitely be back for the 3rd time!

'n Stukkie hemel op aarde vir sielsvreugde. As jy opsoek is na 'n rusplek met onverbeterlike see-uitsig en bowenal dierevriendelik is, dan is hierdie Beach Cottage die plek om te besoek. Ons was bevoorreg om die dolfyne vanaf die stoep te sien en ons hondjie het heerlik op die strand baljaar. Die stort buite maak dit gerieflik om die sand van alle pote af te was en die Cottage beskik oor al die basiese fasiliteite wat jy nodig het. Baie dankie aan Jean-Paul vir jul gasvryheid en inligting waar om die beste samoosas te kry! Ons het 2 weke se pure plesier geniet!

Fantastic view, comfortable cottage. Felt safe and relaxed. Would definitely return. A fantastic view, even from the lounge/dining room. A very neat, comfortable cottage. The walls/fence on either side of the patio help greatly on windy days. Having the owners next door added to the feeling of safety. Owners are very helpful but not intrusive. The access to the beach directly below the cottage is fine for the fit/able but not for unfit/disabled people. However, we felt that this adds to the security. Southport Beach, a blue flag beach, is a short 2 km drive away with sea swimming and a lovely tidal pool for both adults and children. We have recommended Galene Beach Cottage and would love to stay again.

This beautifully maintained property proved perfect for our family of 5, offering all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is a major highlight - situated in a peaceful, quiet area just a short distance from South Port beach, making it ideal for family beach outings. The cottage was impeccably clean and well maintained throughout. What truly made our stay special were the hosts, who welcomed us with such warmth that we felt like part of their family. Their hospitality added an extra special touch to our experience. The proximity to the beach combined with the tranquil surroundings created the perfect balance for a relaxing family getaway. Having all necessary amenities at hand meant we could focus entirely on enjoying our time together. We will definitely visit again! Would highly recommend Galene cottage to any family looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay near the beach with exceptional hosts.

Awesome place, fantastic views and extremely loving owners. The owners of the place are amazing hosts. They made us feel absolutely at home. This place is pet friendly. The backyard of the property has direct access to a very clean beach. We had a situation where we were locked inside. The owner went over and above to ensure that we were out of the situation. They have suggested good places to visit and to eat. The property is very clean and has all the basics that you'd need on a holiday. The house is so artistically designed. Thanks for making us feel at home. We'd definitely visit you again.
