Glen Ormond is an exclusive guest house in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands situated on a picturesque and serene 6-hectare property, elevated above the Mpofana River between the towns of Rosetta and Mooi River.

The guest house offers luxurious accommodation in either private en-suite bedrooms or in self-catering cottages. All rooms have their own entrance and secure parking. Electric gates and an intercom system control access to and from the farm.

The Midlands Meander in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, is a collection of arranged routes that offers visitors hospitality in truly beautiful surroundings, fascinating local events, fabulous cuisine, revitalising outdoor activities and over-the-top adventure sports, historic landmarks, wildlife conservation, and best of all shop-till-you-drop unique arts and crafts.

Midmar Dam is a 35-minute drive away and offers sailing, water-skiing and board sailing, pleasure cruises and game viewing. Golf, fly-fishing, horse riding, a tour of the Battlefields and a treetop tour can be arranged if guests are looking for a bit of adventure.

Glen Ormond Guest House is an easy 1-hour drive from Durban and 4 and a half hours on the N3 highway from Johannesburg. Discover local artists and try on some wool lined leather boots or handcrafted leather shoes. Buy a new handbag or show off your purchases at the local brewery while sampling mugs of local beer.
