217 Gowrie is a perfect family holiday home with a wonderful farm feel. The stay was definitely a memorable one. The place is amazing and child friendly.

Beautiful location but the house was not up to the pay rate standard. The location and home are beautiful; however, at the price, you would expect the house to be appropriately equipped and decorated. It was an empty shell, still with renovations not cleared and fireplace granite covers left in the main living room standing. The rooms are very poorly equipped. Most importantly, there is no decoration in the rooms, bedroom, or bathroom. It was an empty shell!

Our customers are the heart of our business and we understand you’re feeling disappointed about the home not having enough decoration. As you might have noticed, we use the cover to store firewood, which we feel is convenient as it is next to the fireplace. Very comfortable and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your home. Was so spacious and the view was beautiful. Security guards so friendly and welcoming. Hope to be back again.

Baie gerieflik en goed toegerus. Die eenheid is baie ruim, netjies, gerieflik en goed toegerus ─ die kagel was 'n pluspunt. Net jammer dat die extra komberse nie baie skoon was nie, verder was dit beslis die moeite werd.

Peaceful and tranquil location. We really enjoyed our stay at House 217. Beautiful big rooms and open plan living areas. Lovely decor and linen. Under floor heating in bedroom and bathrooms. Large open patio with built in brains. Fire place was not working properly causing smoke inside. No extractor for stove. Not enough dishes eg. serving bowls, etc. for a place that accommodates large groups. No WiFi for 3 days. TV in bedroom had no signal. A copy of Midlands Meander routes with things to do in area would be a plus. Remove empty boxes from cupboard in room with single beds and built in cupboard not completed with mirror. Access code for gate to be given to guest before arrival or noted with keys.
