Description

Hartenbos Private Game Lodge is a privately-owned escape set in the malaria-free region of Hartenbos, Mossel Bay, situated on the Garden Route. The reserve is surrounded by pristine fynbos and alive with wildlife — from Lions, Rhino, Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, Eland, Golden Wildebeest, and Zebra to more than 25 species of antelope. It is also a sanctuary for smaller predators and for bird enthusiasts; the skies and bushveld are filled with a dazzling variety of birdlife, making the lodge a paradise for birdwatching.

The Luxury Villas have two beautifully appointed rooms for a max of 4 guests. One room has a Queen bed with an en-suite bathroom. The second room offers two twin beds, also with its own en-suite bathroom. At the heart of the suite, you’ll find a cozy central living area with a kitchen, dining space, microwave, fridge, and a comfortable lounge suite. Interleading doors connect all the rooms, and Satellite TV is available for your enjoyment.

Each Luxury Tent accommodates a maximum of 2 guests on a queen bed or 2 twin beds with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. In addition, each tent contains basic toiletries, towels, a fan, and a heater. The kitchen contains tea- and coffee-making facilities, a stove top, microwave, and fridge. Braai facilities are available to use as well.

The Luxury Family Tent can accommodate 4 guests. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed, and bedroom 2 features 2 twin beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath. The kitchen contains tea- and coffee-making facilities, a stove top, microwave, and fridge. Braai facilities are available.

The lodge has a dining room in the main building, where delicious meals are served, and guests can enjoy various beverages at the bar. The main building of the lodge also offers four communal lounge areas with flat screen TVs, a game room with a pool table, billiards, table tennis, and darts facilities. Free Wi-Fi available.

There is also an outdoor swimming pool, a boma area, and a sundowner deck where guests can relax and enjoy an ice-cold drink/cold drink from our bar whilst enjoying the peace and quiet of the farm, surrounded by evergreen Fynbos, animals, birds, and breathtaking views of the hills and valleys all the way to the Outeniqua Mountains. For the corporate guest, the lodge offers a venue for either conferencing, functions, or wedding receptions. Parking is available for vehicles on-site.
