Ho-Kaai accommodation was just what we expected. It was worthwhile and safe.

A home away from home! The upstairs accommodation was very comfortable and cozy. It was very clean and neat as a pin! We had everything we needed at our fingertips. We had DStv, a kitchen with a microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, kettle, washing machine, and drying machine. Very comfortable bed with an en suite bathroom in one bedroom. Very comfortable chairs in the lounge area, and there is an outdoor patio where you can braai in a Jetmaster. There are two tables and chairs under a large umbrella, so you are sheltered. You can also eat indoors; there is a wooden table with chairs indoors as well. There is coffee and tea available when you arrive, with milk in the fridge. We were also lucky enough to get a bottle of rosé wine! We were made very welcome by the owner and her son! Cannot thank them enough! We will definitely be back.

Alles was baie gerieflik! Heerlike verblyf! Die eenheid het als waarin mens kon dink en het 'n huislike gevoel. Eienaars was baie gasvry. Die balkon met braai was 'n groot bonus. Adrian was altyd vriendelik en altyd beskikbaar vir enige vrae wat ons gehad het. Hy het ook elke dag die braai skoon gemaak. Die kinders het die DStv en balkon baie geniet. Die WiFi was ook 'n groot bonus. Ons sal in die toekoms weer daar bly.

Location perfect. Home away from home! Had a good stay. Everything we needed could be found in the unit. No challenges encountered during our stay. Adrian was very attentive, and we had a good chat. Location superb. Improvements: Please consider installing plug points at a better height next to beds for guests to plug in portable devices to charge. Then one doesn't need to search for plug points behind beds. All in all, it was a good experience. Will book again!

Worst holiday ever. The stay at Ho'kaai self-catering establishment was, to say the least, not pleasant. The advertising did not stipulate we would be put in the roof of a house with limited space for 7 people and couldn't move or breathe properly. One cramped en-suite bathroom to share with fellow guests. Parking: No shade for parking while the owner's carport is vacant and specifically indicates no parking for his guests. Staircase, not adequate. NBR. Dangerous. Treads, risers, balustrades not in compliance with NBR. Bathroom, no space, plumbing illegal connection, basin and shower trap on one line. Ventilation inadequate. Bedrooms, no direct ventilation and inadequate height in rooms. NBR. Not room, our heads knocked the whole weekend. Windows shut permanently in bedrooms. Minimum height of 2.4m for habitable rooms not achieved. Braai area, umbrella broken. Kitchen fridge was frozen up and couldn't close properly. Lounge area, no ventilation. Minimum height of 2.4m for habitable rooms not achieved. Certainly, the stay was not worth the money. In fact, this establishment, if it remains in its current form, should be removed from the website completely as it holds really detrimental safety concerns. To make matters worse, the establishment was discounted 50% prior to our arrival. I really am very disappointed in this establishment.

Vriendelike, gasvrye mense wat uit hul pad gegaan het om ons tuis te laat voel. Ons het ons tydjie terdeë geniet. Rustige area, skoon en netjiese akkommodasie.
