Quite nice place to go to when one needs peace of mind. My stay was beautiful but I was disappointed when my TV was not working and wasn't checked despite my plea for the matter to be resolved. So I didn't watch TV for the entire week as I checked in for the whole week.

Unlikely that I will ever use their resort. The stay was average (borderline to below average). The rooms are divided with boards, the swimming pool and the gym areas are not maintained; they're dirty (old dilapidated gym equipment). Their WiFi stopped working for two days and they didn't care to correct it, so I checked out a night earlier and lost my one night's fee. Though their air conditioning made for good warm nights.

Beware this horrific accomodation. Beware of ever booking this accommodation. It was literally a horror scene from start to finish. The pictures were nothing like advertised. It was extremely dodgy for a woman, with a dark stairway to the room, an even darker hallway that appeared to be a BASEMENT with office lights hanging from the walls, a dark dingy stairway, and a room that smelt of mould. The bathroom had NO light and had mould exposure on the walls. There were plug points that looked like they'd done the electrics themselves. It was HORRIFIC. The hallway to my room had a door with a lock on the OUTSIDE!!! How terrifying for a woman. It was NOTHING like advertised. I was in a state of panic and began crying, thinking I would have to stay there. Thankfully, my uncle was able to make alternate plans for me, and we left IMMEDIATELY. We had already paid for my entire stay upfront, and my mom is trying desperately to get her money back for the first week. This is the only time my faith in the website's recommendations has been shaken. It is shocking that no checks have been made on that place. You need to do something about it!! Your recommendation "verified by the website" failed us. Very unhappy. And I've lost R1500 due to this ordeal.

Rude host and not clean. I needed accommodation for a week. We checked the pictures on the website, and I was pleased with what I saw, so my sister made the booking. The first thing I noticed on arrival was that the place looked nothing like the pictures. It felt more like a family home, and the noise level was unbearable. The bathrooms are shared, and every time you use them, the carpets are wet. I complained about this because, according to the listing, I was not supposed to share a bathroom. The website’s agent contacted the host — and that’s when things got worse. Shortly after the call, the lady came to my room shouting that my sister was talking nonsense. Luckily, my sister and I were on a video call when this happened and she witnessed everything. My older sister then decided to find another place for me. I left immediately, checked in somewhere else, and forfeited what I had already paid. I would strongly advise against booking this place, especially if you are a woman. I felt very unsafe — my sister had to call me almost every hour to check if I was okay. Oh, and the bathrooms are shared by both men and women, which makes it even more uncomfortable.

Disappointing. Kani Believe the guesthouse is not listed on the website. The place was very dirty. Green toilet seat. Had to ask for toilet paper. Shower was dirty and smelled musty. I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Overall, the stay was nice. The stay was good; they were very accommodating for me and my guest to have rooms ready because my event was early, hours before check-in time. Everything was clean and ready. It's a very quiet and safe area. It's just that my guest who came with me complained about the noise made by the owners during bedtime because their room was next to the reception, and there is a living room with a TV and music playing.
