Clean. Everything you need. Lovely cottage! Wow. We arrived to an already heated kol-kol. There is everything you need in the cupboards. We felt so at home in the cottage. We also took a lovely walk down to the river through the orchids and spotted a lot of wildlife. Definitely feel refreshed after the weekend stay.

Jewel among orchards. Definitely recommend. The room is massive. The air conditioning was a big bonus. The kitchen is fully equipped. We made use of the large stove and oven. Daughter watched DVDs that were available. And very grateful that we could wash our clothes after a week's vacation! Would recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful farm/lodge among fig, peach and pear orchards.

Tranquil, relaxing and beautiful. My stay was wonderful! A beautiful working fruit farm with friendly staff. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the decor was a lovely mix of modern and antique pieces with all the necessities (plus more) to make the stay perfectly comfortable. Very nice accommodation that can accommodate large groups plus beautiful surroundings. We booked Hoogwater for a family weekend. All the units were very neat and well equipped. We really enjoyed spending time in the large living area in the family home, and also in the whirlpool.

A genuine, very comfortable farm-stay cottage in a great scenic location. A very pleasant cottage on a fruit farm with views of an incredible mountain beautifully sunlit at dusk. A genuine, very comfortable, no-frills farm stay! Well equipped including a large air fryer but no television nor microwave. We did not miss it, but TV addicts be warned! We did not use the wood-fired hot tub so cannot comment on its efficacy. Apart from the occasional farm traffic on the nearby dirt road during the day, a very quiet, peaceful location especially at night. Just off the R43 main road, it is centrally located in the Breede Valley, and proved ideally suited to exploring the surrounding areas in every direction. Owner is a really accommodating and exceptionally friendly host. The free WiFi signal is weak and variable.
