Great value for money, accommodating landlord. Secure. Spectacular view. Great place to stay. Very friendly landlord. We even got fresh milk and eggs. Beautiful views, best linen, pizza oven, hot tub, firewood and the list goes on. Close enough to town, yet far away from town noise. We will visit again.

Peaceful, stunning views, modern spacious accommodation. Had a lovely weekend. Beautiful setting, feels private even though quite close to other cottages. Very well kitted out and comfortable. Loved the deck chairs and access to Netflix.

Fantastiese huis met alles wat jy nodig het met die mooiste uitsig. Perfekte blyplek vir 'n gesin of selfs hele familie of groep vriende. Mooiste uitsig oor die plase met 'n lekker dam vir roei of swem. Lekker braai area en onthaalplek en speelarea vir die kinders.

Heerlik gebly. Sal weer gaan. Pragtige uitsig, lieflike ligging. Aangename gasheer en -vrou. Heerlike vars melk was aangebied. Plek was lekker ruim en skoon en goed ingerig.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Jan is a fantastic host. My husband and I had a truly wonderful stay. Jan is an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. Even though we arrived quite late in the evening, Jan had thoughtfully preheated the wood-fired tub for us, which we appreciated after a long journey. The house itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you need. The house can comfortably accommodate six guests, but it felt perfectly cozy for just the two of us. The WiFi was strong, and we enjoyed access to Netflix during our downtime. The setting is peaceful and safe, and we loved being able to walk around the farm and watch the animals. As an extra treat, Jan even shared some fresh farm milk with us, which was absolutely delightful. This is a fantastic spot for large family getaways, with great amenities like a fire pit and pizza ovens. It’s also perfect for couples—we especially loved relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub. There’s honestly nothing we could fault about our stay. Just a small heads-up: being close to nature and a nearby lake, there are quite a few bugs around. The house is equipped with Doom spray, but it’s a good idea to bring along some Tabard or other insect repellent. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!

Beste plaas gastehuis wat ek al besoek het. Die eienaars is sout van die aarde mense met hande wat vir alles gereed staan, altyd gewillig om te help waar hulle kan, en dit met vars plaasmelk en eiers daarmee saam met jou aankoms. Al sleg van die plek is dat jy nie gou wil huis toe gaan nie as jy eers jouself gemaklik gemaak en ingerig is nie.

Asemrowend! Baie netjies. Rustig. By far the best and most beautiful place we stayed at. Everything you wish to have in a holiday spot is here - nature, peace and tranquility but also creature comforts like great WiFi, Netflix, a washing machine and Nespresso. Annellie is an absolute sweetheart and amazing host! The kids loved the jungle gym, trampoline and splashing in the hot tub while watching the sheep. We were lucky to come during spring to see new lambs being born. Enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend!

Cottage was roomy, well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were friendly, sincere. Very, very relaxing - the hot tub was magnificent!
