Kind and generous hosts! Mariaan and Johan were the most accommodating and kindest hosts we have ever experienced. We booked last minute accommodation as a bad snow storm hit parts of the N3 that we were travelling on. After booking a cottage at Ibis, Mariaan informed us that unfortunately they were fully booked, but they would be able to accommodate my husband and I in their house. They allowed us to stay in their guest room and treated us like family! They were so warm and welcoming. After spending the first night in their guest room, the snow had not cleared and they allowed us to spend a second night. Without their kind hospitality we would have been stuck in our car for 2 days. It is very rare to find hosts who would welcome you into their home and house you in their guest room, but this is a testament to their kindness and generosity.
