Was enjoyable. Best part was the indoor and outside braai option. Stayed with a grandparent, hubby and toddler (3 years). As long as we kept her from going upstairs, I felt I could relax. It would be great if a gate could be added at the stairs entrance to upstairs, as well as a security gate to the main entrance of the house for added security at night if one wanted to use the kitchen and was staying in the bottom outside rooms. Very cosy inside bottom area. Clean deck. Amazing indoor fireplace that didn't smoke the house. The fridge downstairs needs to be replaced or repaired. It doesn't get cold enough at the top part. Freezers are perfect. Kitchen stove/hob lovely. Microwave settings blinking. More than adequate glasses, plates and kitchen appliances to use. Some walls in bedrooms seem to have water damage. Rusty and repainting needed outside - but I suppose this happens to all houses at the sea? Weeds growing at entrance area and driveway. Very peaceful hearing the sea echo through the house.

Was absolutely wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better house. The loadshedding causes a bit of a problem trying to keep food from spoiling because it's off for so long at a time. Otherwise definitely one of the best houses there.

Holidays with friends were much needed in those times. We were 4 couples enjoying a nice getaway. It is absolutely picturesque at Eersterivier.
