Peaceful and relaxing. Our stay in the Hideaway cottage was so peaceful. The cottage was so clean and well equipped with everything you need for self-catering accommodation. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman who cleans the boma area. When we arrived, we were treated with hot towels and a refreshing fruit juice. I would definitely be returning to Ikhaya LamaDube. I would only suggest perhaps having mosquito nets over the beds. I have a fear of gekkos and there were plenty in the room, no fault of the lodge; we were in the bush after all. The roads to the lodge are okay for a small car. There are restaurants close by to the lodge, but I did feel a bit restricted moving around in the reserve if you want to visit any of the other lodges a bit further out, but again, this is obviously no fault of the lodge itself.

Quiet romantic getaway. Excellent stay. Wish I could have stayed longer. All amenities were top notch. Unit was neat and staff were friendly. Communication was thorough and check in and check out was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
