Excellent weekend away for friends. We had a lovely weekend and used Inn on Highlands as our base for a weekend of mountain biking in the area. The unit (Mrs Purple) was very comfortable, clean, well kitted out with the most amazing view.

Beautiful getaway in the Elgin Valley. Our weekend getaway at Inn On Highlands was absolutely wonderful! The surroundings are beautiful — tranquil landscapes, breathtaking views and a sense of peace from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was neat, spacious and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The Kol Kol hot tub at the Mr Silver unit was an absolutely fantastic experience — a real treat. We also really enjoyed the free kayaking on the dam; it is definitely a winner for young and old! What we really appreciated is that there is no TV in the units — it brings everyone closer together and makes you really appreciate nature. The area also offers more than enough to see and do, and it is only a short drive from the Cape. A big thank you to the manager, who really provided excellent service. She is a great asset to Inn On Highlands and made our stay even more special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Inn On Highlands to anyone looking for peace, nature and quality time with loved ones!

Immaculate rooms with great birdlife. We had a beautiful, serene, peaceful stay. The birdlife was incredible. Spent over an hour listening to a pair of owls calling to each other. Gorgeous views of the dam with very entertaining ducks. The rooms were immaculate, the first place I've stayed in this price range that has a sharp enough knife to cut veggies! Nice and new, neat, spacious and thoughtfully kitted out. We are thinking of even renting the place out for a 50th!

Overnight with husband and two adult children. Beautiful clean accommodation on an apple farm. We had a wonderful stay. We were able to walk between orchards, canoe on the dam and take the most beautiful photos.
