I hope to return soon. Attentive, friendly hosts, comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful garden with pool, hot outdoor shower, and abundant bird life made my stay peaceful, relaxing and restorative.

Highly recommend Karoo Cottage to anyone visiting McGregor or surrounds. Karoo Cottage was lovely, especially the beautiful pool and garden. We had an incredibly relaxing stay, thank you!

Ons kon swem en braai, wat lekker was. Dit is 'n mooi kothuis met goeie geriewe, veral swembad- en braaiareas. Terwyl ek buite gestort het, het die eienaar (man) verby my geloop. Dit het my baie ongemaklik laat voel. Verder is hulle wagwoord (WiFi) G-spot), wat uiters onaanvaarbaar is. Dit het my onmiddellik ongemaklik laat voel.

Our website clearly advertises that Karoo Cottage has an outdoor shower only. This is very well concealed behind dense vegetation thus ensuring privacy, and use thereof is entirely optional for guests. On no account is there any valid reason to intimate voyeuristic intentions on the part of the owners, myself, or my husband. This remark is unfair, ungracious, and untrue. Because the shower is so well concealed, my husband was not aware it was in use and only realized the mistake as he was passing. He was embarrassed at the mistake but as it was not mentioned by the guest, he did not approach her later with his apology. The network password is in fact G-spot. A little humour is required here. Our surname is Graham and Karoo Cottage, McGregor, is our special spot on the planet. Any further association with the name is entirely the perception of the person who may feel affronted and most certainly does not have any unsavory intentions.

As jy rustigheid en vrede soek, is dit definitief die plek om te kuier. Die cottage het alles wat jy nodig het. Dit is baie netjies en gerieflik. Ons gashere was ook baie behulpsaam as ons iets ekstra sou nodig hê.

Lovely cottage with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Loved the swimming pool and the beautiful surrounding garden. So many birds chirping as we cooled down in the pool. Felt at home. Enjoyed the outdoor shower. The cottage had everything we needed and was nice and cool over the hot weekend.

A very comfortable stay. Warm and friendly hosts. Karoo Cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. The cottage is situated close to the shops and restaurants. An ideal stay-over! We highly recommend it!
