Description
Kayova River Lodge is a charming property perched high on a slope of the Okavango riverbank with a strikingly lush and peaceful view of the Okavango also known as the Cubango River, which is the largest waterway and border between Namibia and Angola. This lodge was built with the purpose to attract and host tourists to the beautiful location and caters to small breakaways, conferences, and corporate visitors in a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere.
Accommodation is offered in thatched chalets and Meru Safari Tents, each furnished comfortably to meet the needs of guests. The units can each accommodate 2 guests and are either furnished with queen beds, double beds, or twin beds. Each unit has its own bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The units are air-conditioned and come with tea- and coffee-making facilities. The tents are spacious and airy with flaps that can zip shut as required and are mosquito and insect-proof while the gauze net is kept closed. The patios have outdoor furniture where guests can sit and relax while they take in the view.
The lodge features a large lawn area, with large shady trees, close to the rooms and the main lodge area that overlooks the river. The bright blue communal swimming pool has a deck area with pool loungers and a part roof covering for shade during the midday. The second communal swimming pool is located closer to the tented units. Guests have access to the main area which has a bar and restaurant with additional seating space. Wi-Fi is available in the main area.
