The owners reside on the farming property adjacent to the Malachite cottage. There are also 2 dogs permanently on the property.
Malachite cottage; guests are welcome to bring their well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement only.
Guests can buy bags of wood on the farm.
Fly-fishing rods can be hired, while classes are also on offer.
Trout fishing is available at an additional cost per kg.
Trout products or fresh trout can be provided by prior arrangement a week before the check-in date and at an additional cost. Health bread, eggs, and seasonal preserves are sold on the premises and are subject to availability.

Up a few steps from the bedroom is the lounge area which contains 2 small sleeper couches suitable for 2 children and a fireplace. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a wash basin. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a 2-plate gas hob, cutlery, crockery, and cooking utensils. The cottage is pet friendly and has a private enclosed garden with a braai pit, outside seating, loungers, and a wood-fired hot tub.
