Description

Kingswood Oppi-Dam is located on the Kingswood Golf Estate in George and offers spacious, luxurious self-catering accommodation with convenient heat-and-eat facilities. It’s the perfect choice for families, groups of friends, or business travellers visiting the Garden Route.

Guests can choose between the Oppi-Dam Studio Room, a 1-bedroom unit ideal for 2 guests, or the Oppi-Dam House, a 3-bedroom unit that accommodates up to 6 guests. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Both units have private entrances and complete privacy, while the owner resides on the property.

The Studio Room is situated on the parking side of the property, while the House faces the golf course and mountains. Guests of the House enjoy priority access to the swimming pool area.

Both units feature a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, Nespresso machine, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The spacious Oppi-Dam House boasts a sunken lounge with a Smart TV offering Netflix and the full DStv package, while the Studio Room has its own cosy sitting area with a Smart TV and the same entertainment options. Complimentary unlimited WiFi and secure parking are available.

House guests can also enjoy the gazebo braai area, complete with a built-in braai and pizza oven. All 3 bedrooms in the House face north towards the mountains, filling the space with light and warmth, and open onto the swimming pool area with a patio and outdoor seating – the perfect spot for relaxation. A dedicated golf practice area is also available for guests.

Please note that estate rules prohibit evening noise outside at the braai area, and Oppi-Dam therefore does not cater for large golf groups. Instead, it offers a peaceful nature retreat, ideally suited to families and smaller groups seeking a relaxed atmosphere. Situated alongside the 15th fairway and overlooking a dam, guests can also enjoy sightings of birdlife, owls, springbok, and bushbuck.
