A well equipped and much needed getaway at the perfect spot. The stay was lovely. The place is huge and I don't think the pictures are doing justice to the space inside the house (especially the bathrooms and setup) and the view. Also, it is a triple story home and Kite View 2 is the middle floor - access is with a set of stairs down from the level of the road. The home is equipped with everything you may need with proper instructions on what and how to use the stove, etc. The house is quite cold but the indoor fireplace saved us. The braai area outside is rather pleasant. The hosts are also very active in responding to questions. We enjoyed the stay.

Beste uitsig vanaf 'n lieflike stoep. 5 sterre vir alles, maar steeds weet ons nie of die TV werk nie. Wie wil TV kyk met 'n uitsig soos daardie? Loopafstand na die rivier en strand, asook die pub. Die rustigheid van Witsand is wonderlik. Ons is net teleurgesteld dat ons nie langer gebly het nie.

Great view. Looks just like in the pictures. Pity about the very early check-out. Could leave tea and coffee for guests as well.

Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay at Kite View - we are delighted that you enjoyed the views over the Breede River and ocean. Our check-out time is 10am (on weekdays) - this is normal in the tourism industry. It allows us time to clean the property before 2pm - which is our check-in time. We supply tea/coffee at our guesthouse but not in the self-catering holiday homes that we manage - as they are self-catering. We look forward to your next visit to Witsand.

Hierdie is 'n pragtige plek om in te bly met 'n mooi uitsig. Ek en my man het daar tuis gegaan vir 'n paar dae. Pragtige, netjiese, ruim en skoon huis met 'n lieflike see-uitsig. Die huis was baie goed toegerus en baie gerieflik. Die gasstoof tydens beurtkrag het baie handig te pas gekom. Met ons aankoms is ons vriendelik ontvang en het ons 'n kaart met inligting oor besienswaardighede en restaurante ontvang.

Great place to stay with a stunning view. I was there with my husband, but we had friends from Germany with us and they thought it was wonderful. House very spacious and well equipped. Stay was very comfortable and too short. Hosts very friendly and helpful and on arrival we were informed about all that one can enjoy at Witsand with maps to help us. Had a braai on the large terrace enjoying the view. Highly recommended.
