Description

Wielewaal Bush Lodge is an authentic British Colonial guesthouse in Marloth Park, located 250 metres from the Crocodile River and within walking distance of the river that separates Marloth Park from the Kruger National Park. The area offers beautiful viewpoints where guests can observe nature and wildlife directly from the park.

Wielewaal offers a selection of tastefully decorated en-suite rooms and private tents. The rooms and tents feature either two single beds convertible to a king-size, or a king- or queen-size bed, each with a private bathroom that includes a shower, toilet, and open-air bath.

Each unit is equipped with air conditioning, a fan, a hospitality fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, an electric kettle, towels, toiletries, luxury gowns, and a hairdryer. Complimentary Wi-Fi and parking are also available.

Guests can relax in one of the lovely lounges overlooking the bush, enjoy the honesty bar, or cool off in the swimming pool or splash pool. There is also a boma where dinner is served when the weather permits; in case of rain, dinner is moved to the comfortable dining room. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the bush while watching the wildlife. An optional three-course dinner is also available at a special rate. Meals are prepared and served by the owner and an experienced chef, who specialises in traditional Afrikaans dishes.

Visitors to Marloth Park have the opportunity to see a wide variety of freely roaming wildlife, enjoy birdwatching, cycling, walking on guided safaris, or embarking on self-drive safaris, as both the Crocodile Bridge and Malelane gates of the Kruger National Park are approximately 45 minutes from Marloth Park. The park also offers a waterpark, mini-golf, and basic facilities such as liquor stores, restaurants, a curio shop, and a petrol station.
