Based on this experience, I cannot recommend La Lucia Guest House. Extremely disappointing stay. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience at La Lucia Guest House. I stayed for four nights in Room 2, self-catering - double room. At first glance, the room and facilities appeared neat and tidy. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse later that evening. The pillows were stained and smelled unwashed — truly unacceptable. I ended up buying my own pillows the next day just to feel comfortable. The walls are paper-thin, so if you're a light sleeper, expect little to no rest. The gentleman in the room next door may as well have been in mine — I could hear everything, and he kept me awake all night. To make matters worse, I saw cockroaches in the room and inside the cupboards, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and concerned about hygiene. I understand that any place can have an off day, but basic cleanliness, soundproofing, and pest control should never be compromised. Unfortunately, I did not feel relaxed or rested during my stay. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend La Lucia Guest House.
