Ladybrand Heritage House is situated in the picturesque Eastern Free State, gateway to the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Nestled at the foot of picturesque Platberg, with a view of the majestic Maluti Mountains, Ladybrand Heritage House provides visitors with a unique combination of old-world charm and modern-day comfort, whilst still retaining the history of the old “Gedenk Kinderhuis”.

The accommodation comprises 7 air-conditioned rooms equipped with toiletries, towels, Wi-Fi, hairdryers, TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is a self-catering apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 rooms and direct access to a sparkling pool and sports facilities.

The heart-warming lounge and dining area provide visitors with a relaxed atmosphere, where a glass of fine South African wine or whiskey can be enjoyed, while browsing through one of our ample books or playing a game of billiards or snooker. A hearty dinner can be prepared by prior arrangement.

Bordering the eighteen-hole golf course of the Ladybrand Sports Club, we offer direct access to a round of golf, a few lengths of swimming, a session at the gym, a game of tennis or squash or a walk on the Steve Visser hiking trail, leading you to the historical "Stables", carved out of solid sandstone rock, millions of years ago. Saturday mornings guests can enjoy a scenic 5 km "Park Run" on the adjacent golf course and meet up with local Ladybranders.
