We had a wonderful time and I would definitely go back there. Wonderful facility with helpful and very friendly staff. Beautiful dam with lots to do. Wonderful restaurant, location and food!

Quiet bushveld setting. Peaceful bushveld setting and loads of interesting birds. We were in a standard room which was suitable for one night's stay, but the rooms are right next to each other, so next time we will opt for free-standing accommodation. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious, but the restaurant area is looking a bit tired.

Beslis die lekkerste en mooiste plek in die bos. Baie vriendelike mense daar. Die mooiste plek. Sou gekamp het, maar het toe besluit om liewer 'n chalet te neem. Toe gradeer hulle ons op na die mooiste villa, Mufassa toe. Baie netjies en met die mooiste uitsig oor die meer. Pragtige plek. Net die restaurant se kos kort 'n opdatering asb.

Our stay was pleasant in a tranquil setting right on the lake. Lovely setting on the lake. Friendly staff. Mattresses and pillows are worn and need replacing.

Mooiste omgewing, rustig en veilig. Die akkommodasie is gerieflik, veilig en het meer as wat jy verwag. Lekker stoep met gedeeltelike uitsig oor die meer. Ons het tot 'n kat as gas gehad wat ons vreeslik geniet het!

Heerlik en rustig. Baie lekker gebly, die personeel in die ontvangs kan vriendeliker wees. Baie streng reëls. Kan beslis eers na 2 ingaan en nie 'n minuut vroeër nie. Restaurant se personeel is baie vriendelik en die kos was heerlik! Onthou ook dat by Rafiki is die derde slaapkamer onder en jy moet trappe af, buite om, in die kamer gaan. Jy is afgesluit van die res van die huis.

We are very pleased to hear that you found your stay overall to be wonderful and peaceful, and that you enjoyed the restaurant's food and friendly staff. We will be happy to share this positive feedback with them. We also take note of your comments regarding the reception staff and the strict check-in times. We sincerely apologise if this was perceived as unfriendly or inconvenient — this is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. Please note that, as there were guests staying in the same chalet the previous night with a check-out time of 10:00, it is sometimes not possible to allow check-in before 14:00. During this time, our housekeeping team is working diligently to ensure everything is clean and prepared for your stay. Upon your arrival, we confirmed with housekeeping whether early check-in was possible, but if the chalet was not yet ready, we felt it would not be ideal to send you to an unprepared unit. Thank you also for explaining the layout of Rafiki's third bedroom. This information helps us to better inform future guests about the layout, so they know what to expect.
