Short and powerful. Nice and neat accommodation. Roof is incredibly noisy when the wind blows and the geyser does not heat up consistently.

Have a nice stay at Lekkerkry. The directions to Lekkerkry are pretty clear and I don't think the road is as bad as some people make it out to be. If you're looking for an N1 access road, stay along the N1, but if you're looking for farm accommodation, expect a farm road. We were pleasantly welcomed and nicely explained how, what and where to enjoy. Plus points for the good bedding and towels, although I would deduct a point or two for the finish of the unit - door frame was broken, front door slightly ajar, towel rail loose and the hot water works better in warm weather than in the morning cold due to the length of pipe between gas geyser and outlet. The central living area/kitchen is extremely conveniently equipped and due to the power system and theme of the accommodation I can understand why this is so. I don't believe it will be to everyone's taste, but the gathering around one table, making new friends and the atmosphere it creates will create memories that will be appreciated by those who value it highly. The farm itself offers a nice insight into the Karoo lifestyle with game species such as Kudu, Springbok, Ribbok and Warthog which can be seen with relatively little effort during a walk or short drive on the gravel roads. Along with that I believe the tented houses give a real camp/outdoor feel which contributes to enjoying the scenery. In summary we will definitely return again. The lack of rules and guidelines is a welcome simplicity and you leave Lekkerkry as if you were leaving a friend rather than just a booking number. I am glad there are still places to stay that are open-minded, rather than just public.

Nice to have a nice lodge. Very nice stay, everything you need is there, friendly welcome from Len and Chrissie. The gravel road there is beautiful and easy to drive. Incredibly beautiful view, picture perfect with all the stars in the evening.

Lekkerbly at Lekkerkry. Our stay at the secluded farm lodge was amazing. The service was beyond expectations and the natural beauty of the vast Karoo environment was breathtaking and picturesque. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Lekkerkry Lodge is definitely recommended by us.

Everything and more! Just want to go back again and again! Everything was so special. Rooms were stylish and had everything guests needed. Friendly welcome and had a lot of privacy. Lovely barbecue area, hiking trails and viewpoints. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
