Very nice resort, but the specific unit needs TLC. We have been going to Mabalingwe for some time now, and always stay in one of the Elephant Lodge chalets. This particular chalet needs a bit of TLC. The braai grill was broken, and we had to find bricks. Maybe new bedding. There was only a single fleece blanket on the beds, luckily we took extra blankets with us.

This is our 2nd visit to Mabalingwe and the park never disappoints. I would recommend Mabalingwe Park - such a great place for family.

Stay was ok, but will not book this unit again. Mabalingwe is a beautiful place, but the unit has a few issues that don't seem to be getting attention. The toilet door (as in a previous review) cannot close. The outside kitchen is not convenient as the light does not work and has not been extended into a proper kitchen like other units. The bathroom has not been updated like other units. The hot water pressure is inconsistent.

Accommodation was not up to standard. Accommodation was ok, house needs a lot of attention. House has a braai area, but no braai appliances and the grill was broken. I contacted the house host about this, but got no response. The people are not very helpful. We showered in brown water every night.
