The best getaway I have ever had and we will surely book Maggie May again. Our stay was wonderful, the boat has everything you need and even some extra treats. The setting is beautiful, it's the ideal weekend getaway if you want peace and quiet. We chose A Taste of Africa as our restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner; this is a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious. Overall, the staff is very friendly and very helpful, the boat was clean and the surroundings are beautiful.

Worth putting on your bucket list of fun accommodation. Our host was absolutely amazing. He made sure we were comfortable from the word go and explained all the necessary details on the houseboat. Even though it was only for one night, it truly felt like a holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay. Two nights on Maggie May was perfect for our trip to Addo Elephant Park. Location is beautiful and had awesome sunsets up the river. Beds were comfortable.

Ontspannend in die natuur. Ontspannende verblyf waar dit voel of jy in die natuur is. Gepas vir mense wat van karavaanverblyf hou.

A unique and fun experience. We had so much fun enjoying the stay on the river and the activities available. The check-in was easy and they kindly allowed the two dogs to come along. It is a beautiful area to explore but the N2 is close by so one is aware of that noise at times. But I would definitely recommend this as something to try. 2 nights were perfect for us to get the full day to experience the boat and river.

Lekker ondervinding gewees. Ons het dit baie geniet. Ons het slegs 1 versoek. Dit is dat daar nie komersiële bote aan die kante van die Maggie May vas gemaak word nie. Dit spoil die view van die rivier.

Buite tienerseuns wat hou van visvang en avontuur is die location great! Great ondervinding! Daar was net geen warm water om te stort nie.

Pragtig en anders. Alles was netjies en alles is daar wat jy benodig. Mooi sonsondergang en sonsopkoms oor die rivier. Lekker bed, TV, sjokolade op die bed. Die toilet is net bietjie ongemaklik/klein. Ek sal net 2 dingetjies verander - die mense wat op- en afry op die rivier maak natuurlik baie branders en dan kap Maggie May teen die houtpaal. Dis nogal 'n harde slag. Ek sal voorstel dat 'n motorband teen die paal vasgemaak kan word om die hou te demper. En dan ook net 'n nuwe stortgordyn, dis bruin onder. Dankie.

Boat much smaller than in the photos. Dirty dishes in the cupboards. Toilets were only cleaned very late afternoon instead of 8:30 am as stipulated. Overall, not satisfied.
