Stunning. We had the most wonderful stay at Mansfield. The Eagle's Nest Cabin is such a special spot. It is such a sweet little wood cabin, with the most amazing view. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay and a wide variety of wildlife to see. We really enjoyed our weekend at Mansfield Game Reserve! The cottage was comfortable, clean and tidy on arrival and had everything we could need (we really appreciated the fans in the rooms, especially as it was such a hot weekend). The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was great to be able to drive amongst the wildlife ourselves and we would definitely recommend Mansfield to other travellers.

Conveniently placed and comfortable. Well received on arrival. The unit is very well-positioned with a lovely view. Tea and coffee facilities. Delicious rusks. All necessary self-catering implements. Braai lighters conveniently provided. Saw giraffe, buck, and tortoises. Lots of bird life. We struggled with the shower, though.

Great views and skip the tent pitching. Great place to 'camp' without the hassle of pitching a tent. Awesome views from the platforms.

Beautiful area but the camping area is only best for a group. This review is only for the camping experience. The dirt road from the main road is full of potholes. In the reserve, the roads are not maintained and are in a very poor condition. It is not advisable for normal road caravans to visit the reserve. Although the camping area has lawn, there are hundreds of earthworms under the lawn pushing small muddy heaps through the lawn, creating quite a mess when it is wet from the dew in the mornings. We walked a lot on the internal roads (the hiking trail does not exist anymore). The bird life is quite rewarding - spotted 55 species. The planes from the training airbase, which is close by, create a constant noise during the day. I think the campsite will work best for groups.

Pure fun, lots of adventures and activities that we had done. Best place from the. It was a lovely stay. The cleanliness was amazing and the staff were really friendly. I enjoyed my stay a lot.
