Marilyn’s Rooms offer comfortable accommodation next to Dolittle Cottages, with access to a shared garden, pool, and braai area. Guests can enjoy a warm welcome from the resident office dogs and cats each morning and visit the donkeys and sheep, who happily trot over for attention. The private rooms are well-equipped, while the shared lounge area features a cosy couch, perfect for relaxing with a book or watching Netflix. The in-room kitchenette includes tea- and coffee-making facilities, a kettle, toaster, microwave, bar fridge, and basic cutlery, crockery, and glassware. Guests booking both Marilyn’s Deluxe and Comfort Rooms can enjoy exclusive use of the space. The outdoor area includes a sparkling pool and a spacious braai area set beneath a shady tree, ideal for leisurely afternoons. Guests can also take a stroll through the beautifully maintained garden. Secure off-road parking is available for one car per room behind an automatic security gate, with CCTV monitoring for added safety. Arrivals and departures are tracked for security purposes.

As the pool is not fenced, only children 12 years and older cannot be accommodated. The garden and pool area are shared with guests in Marilyn’s Rooms and Dolittle Cottages.
There are some resident pets on the premises including dogs, cats, chickens, sheep and donkeys. Children must be supervised at all times.
The resident donkeys, sheep and chickens will be happy to greet guests and are used to people, but guests must please not enter their enclosures and please feed nothing but carrots, apples or other fruits, as these can cause serious illness.
Towels may only be used for showering and bathing purposes. It may not be used for the pool as chlorine bleaches.

Each room is private, and guests booking both Marilyn’s Deluxe and Comfort Rooms can enjoy exclusive use of the space. The shared lounge area features a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Netflix is available for entertainment. The outdoor area includes a sparkling pool and a spacious braai area under a shady tree, ideal for relaxing afternoons. The property is located next to the town’s Showground, which hosts agricultural events, local concerts, and cycling races.
