Maru Djembe Campsite offers a lovely camping experience within the heart of a private nature reserve. Located just outside of Hoedspruit, this is a great spot for guests to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

There are 9 campsites to choose from and each site has a capacity of 9 guests at a time. Each site has its own water supply. There are ablution facilities available which are fitted with gas heaters, showers, washbasins and toilets. Each site also has braai facilities. All guests have access to a communal kitchen with a gas burner and a washup basin as well as a lapa with picnic tables.

The location of this property is approximately 58 km from Phalaborwa Kruger gate and 48km from Orpen Kruger gate. This campsite allows you unrestricted access with no gate times, ensuring true freedom in the wilderness. This is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts as there is an abundance of game such as giraffes, wildebeests, sable antelope and more roaming around. Guests can relax in the dam-style swimming pool during hot days and take a family-friendly stroll along the 5 km walking trail.
