Nice and quiet! Milorho Lodge was excellent. Every detail has been taken care of. The birdlife and swimming pools were a highlight.

Wonderful weekend getaway! Amazing hiking trails and clean, well-equipped units. A lovely venue for a breakaway from the city grind. Beautiful farm with amazing hiking trails. Sparkling, clear rock pools 100m away for a refreshing swim. Accommodation was very clean and well-equipped. Lovely fireplace in the lounge for the chilly nights and covered braai area. Very well organised. Communication from the venue was excellent.

Lovely spacious house with a nice fire place and good for a two-family holiday. We had a perfect stay. The house is spacious and perfect for a two-family holiday. Even though it was winter, we felt warm and cosy inside, enjoying our evenings by the fire place. The rock pools are just a stone's throw away and we even had a dip despite the water being ice cold. But the rocks were nice and warm. Beautiful nature and not too far from Johannesburg to get there still on a Friday afternoon.

Beautiful, tranquil, peaceful. It was an outstanding place to go to for a city breakaway. It is quiet and a tranquil spot to be if you appreciate the sound of silence away from city life. The cottage we stayed at was clean, properly prepared for our stay, and everything that you think you need is provided. The hiking trail is also worth doing; if you enjoy long trails into the unknown, then this is worth it. Overall, I'd come back to Milorho Lodge anytime. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Beautiful, peaceful, blissful for the soul! Absolute wonder! Nature is more than just beautiful! A peaceful midweek getaway to recharge the mind, soul and body! The sound of the river (with rock pools) in the background while the dry braai wood crackles on your ears! In the morning before the midday heat we could experience a woodpecker building its nest, an Olive Grass Snake and small creatures showing off! I would not recommend that parents come here with children, they will be bored as there is no TV or good cellphone reception. If you can get away without them and can stand not calling home every day, this is the place for you to recharge! Kiaat cottage has more than you would expect for self-catering, clean, tidy and fairly modern. Thank you for hosting us! You and your staff made it truly enjoyable! We will return! Next time with a vehicle and not the motorbikes.

Fun but no WiFi. It was wonderful, only downside is that I was expecting WiFi because it says so on the listing but the only WiFi was at reception, which is a long walk or drive from the cabins. I work from home and just wanted to change up my work environment while taking my mum and dad on vacation.

Restful. Very good customer service; comfortable and convenient. At one point the fellow guests/neighbors were playing loud music, but the host stopped it within 10 minutes of me sending a message. The willingness and solution to the problem is worth much more than the temporary inconvenience. Well done.
