Like stepping back in time! Absolutely loved Mona Cottage, so tastefully furnished, wonderful antique paintings but all mod cons in the kitchen. Mike couldn't have been more helpful and the highlight of our stay was a visit to Alanglade Museum, residence of the former mine manager, fascinating house. Loved the company of the little cat in the garden! Only slight niggle was the WiFi, great late evening/early morning but hopeless during the day.

Lovely quaint cottage. Lovely comfortable cottage, fully equipped and in a central position. The host was great and met us at the cottage to check us in and personally explain everything.

Nice and cozy. Besides the place not being clean, it was a nice cottage to stay in. It's a beautiful cottage, suitable for a family or a group of friends. Quiet area and central to most activities and also safe. However, the cottage was not clean. The carpets were dirty and the floors and counters were dusty. Beautiful interior for people who love vintage style, but it was not clean. Also, the WiFi was not working for our whole stay.

A great place to stay. The host was welcoming. We arrived late, but he made arrangements for us to pick up the key from another place.
