Peaceful, tranquil, home from home. Monkey Thorn Cottage is a complete treasure. As soon as you walk into the premises, there is beautiful birdlife, trees and art in every corner. We had a lovely warm welcome from the hosts after a secure check-in into the estate. The cottage is lovely and quiet with lots of privacy and places to sit and enjoy the birdlife. The decor in the house was also really lovely.

Very enjoyable and peaceful. It was quiet. Just what we were looking for. A good breakaway. The cottage is small (just right) and well appointed. We enjoyed the nature, birds and buck. Also enjoyed the outside fireplace - braaied every evening even though I before the time said I would not. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
