Mooifontein Struisie is a beautiful and cosy self-catering cottage situated on Mooifontein Farm which is located 27 km south of Colesberg. It is situated right next to the N1, making it an ideal option for an overnight stay or a break from the hustle and bustle.

This cottage can comfortably accommodate a total of 4 guests at a time comprising a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and there are another 2 single beds in the living area. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with an induction plate, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from this kitchen is a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together. For guests’ entertainment, a TV with DStv is also available.

Outside is a private patio with seating and braai facilities which creates the perfect spot for guests to unwind while enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

The beauty of the Karoo's rocky landscapes brings peace to the soul. The sunsets after a long day on the road will ensure an enriching atmosphere and are any photographer's dream. The whole family can enjoy the farm experience with the chickens, Merino sheep, and Nguni cattle when they are around.
