Moonrise Dome offers a truly exceptional self-catering accommodation experience, perched on a hill with panoramic views of the Witzenberg mountain range on the enchanting La Bruyère Farm, a 222 hectare property conveniently located near the charming town of Tulbagh. Overlooking a private dam for swimming and the start of a hiking trail to a waterfall, guests can immerse themselves in the natural splendour the farm has to offer.
The property features a single dome tent and a treehouse, ensuring a private and intimate stay for up to 4 guests. Thoughtfully decorated, the dome is furnished with a queen-size bed set on a deck with large windows that welcome natural light and showcase stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The treehouse, located near the dome, also boasts panoramic valley views and is furnished with a queen-size bed. It opens onto a quaint deck complete with a table and chairs. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin, toilet, and an outdoor bath. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The dome features a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, kettle, cutlery, crockery, 2 bar fridges, and a breakfast nook with stools. There is a cosy living area with a day bed, an ideal spot to relax while enjoying the views. Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious deck with portable braai facilities.
Activities on the farm include swimming, fishing, mountain biking, and hiking. Tulbagh is renowned for its lush vineyards, scenic mountain ranges, hiking trails, galleries, and breweries, making this an ideal destination for travellers seeking a memorable glamping experience in peaceful, natural surroundings.
