Description
The MOSAIC Lagoon Lodge offers the ultimate private getaway, with just 6 safari-style suites hidden among ancient Milkwood trees on the edge of the Hermanus Lagoon. A stay at the lodge will immerse guests in the birdlife of the Cape Floral Kingdom, lagoon cruises, stunning beaches, fascinating marine life, and some of the world's most beautiful Winelands. Breakfast and dinner are included and are served with delicious South African wines.
Each suite was built with stone and thatch harvested from Mosaic and features a king-size bed or optional twin beds surrounded by beautiful soft netting, a sitting area, a fireplace, and a ceiling fan. The bathrooms are fitted with a free-standing bathtub, a separate indoor shower and a private outdoor shower for that African bush experience. Stone-and-glass walls open onto private decks with gorgeous mountain views.
Boardwalks under a canopy of trees lead to the lounge where drinks and meals are shared outdoors, or by a fireplace that will warm your soul. A plunge pool overlooking the mountains is a favourite place to spot birds. As evening falls, you will witness the exquisite colours of the sun setting and the glorious expanse of the star-filled South African sky.
Mosaic is a place for activities for the whole family and includes 4x4 beach excursions, guided Fynbos Safari, stand-up paddle boarding, boat cruises, kayaking, mountain biking and guided nature walks. Area activities such as boat-based whale watching, shark cage diving, or Winelands tours and tastings can also be booked. For indulgent pampering, spa therapies can be booked at the Milkwood Spa at Mosaic.
