Mountain View Ranch is a spacious self-catering farm lodge situated on a privately owned ranch at the foot of the Highmoor Nature Reserve. It is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, large groups, or families seeking a peaceful countryside escape.

This charming farmhouse comprises 6 bedrooms and a generous open-plan living area. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and feature en-suite bathrooms, each fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Three of the remaining bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, while the sixth bedroom contains 2 bunk beds. These rooms share 2 bathrooms, one fitted with a bath, shower, and toilet, and the other with a shower and toilet. There is also a separate guest toilet. All bedrooms are equipped with wall heaters and electric blankets for the colder months, as well as fans for summer. Each room boasts beautiful mountain views and opens onto a spacious wrap-around veranda with outdoor seating.

The fully equipped kitchen includes 2 fridge-freezers, a gas hob and oven, a microwave, an air fryer, an ice machine, and a Nespresso coffee machine. A large dining table provides ample space for meals. Just off the kitchen is a cosy piazza area with a fireplace, another dining table, and a pizza oven. The lounge is comfortably furnished and features a fireplace, leading onto a covered veranda with a second dining area, a gas and Weber braai, a built-in wood braai, and sweeping views over the paddocks and Mount Lebanon.

For ultimate relaxation, guests can enjoy the newly built boma with a wood-fired hot tub for winter and a refreshing plunge pool for summer.

The property also offers an outdoor games room with a pool table, table tennis, foosball, and a dartboard.

Set on 24 hectares of open paddocks, the farm is home to Nguni cattle, rescued horses, blesbok, and guinea fowl that roam freely. The Little Mooi River flows through the lower fields—perfect for a refreshing dip, a peaceful walk, or a bit of fly-fishing. A dedicated picnic spot is available for sundowners and scenic afternoon relaxation.

The Kamberg Valley is known for its diverse range of activities including cycling, hiking, fly-fishing, horse riding, and mountain biking.
