Description

Mountain View Villa is a solar-powered self-catering lodge nestled in the heart of Namibia’s Hardap region, approximately 101 kilometers from central Maltahöhe. Offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and private reserve, this tranquil retreat is ideal for families, artists, writers, or anyone seeking peace and quiet in a picturesque, off-the-grid setting.

The lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests and comprises 4 suites and a central communal living area. Each suite is furnished with a king-size bed and a double sleeper couch, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.

The main living area features a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a breakfast bar with stools. The open-plan space also includes a cosy lounge with ample comfortable seating and a dining area where guests can enjoy meals together.

Outside, guests can make use of a built-in braai, a large dining table, a pizza oven, and a splash pool, perfect for cooling off while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. Secure parking is provided for guests’ convenience. Guests staying at Mountain View Villa are also welcome to enjoy the amenities of the nearby Kronenhof Lodge, including the on-site restaurant and Wi-Fi in the main area.
