Lovely and beautiful place with excellent and friendly service. What a lovely experience! Amy was very helpful and really went out of her way to provide excellent service - right from the start and even before we got there! She accommodated us a lot and was very friendly. They even came to spray the pesky mosquitoes for us. It is a beautiful campsite, with plenty of coolness and thick, green grass. The facilities are clean and tidy and are cleaned regularly - also the braaiers and grills. The houses are very practical, very well laid out and beautiful! One can see that a lot of love has been put into the Lodge. The fishing was also a nice experience - even if they didn't bite that much. It was a great experience, from start to finish!

New swimming pool and basic restaurant. Boat trips lovely. Real highlight = 3-breasted bee-eaters that breed here between August and January.

A comfortable stay but unfortunately not enough for us to do. The campsites are well laid out with grass underfoot and most had adequate shade. Ablutions were good. Unfortunately, the campsites have no view of the river and it's a bit of a walk to the river. We were unfortunately there during a fishing competition, which meant we couldn't do any of the river activities as their resources were allocated to the fishing competition.

Was it worth visiting Muchenje? Enough shade in campsite. Good facilities. Camped for 4 days and ablution serviced 1 time. Had to ask each time for braai ash to be removed from braai site. Otherwise we camped well.
