Description
Muldersvlei Estate Guesthouse offers an authentic farm stay on a working farm located 15 minutes from Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Durbanville. The guesthouse is set in a 200-year-old building that originally served as stables and workers’ quarters, which has been carefully restored into comfortable guestrooms.
Rooms 1 to 4 were originally horse stables. These family-style rooms are furnished with a king-size or queen-size bed and 2 single beds separated by a dividing wall for privacy and are suitable for work groups, friends, families, or couples.
Rooms 6 and 7 were former caretakers’ living quarters with a large original fireplace. Room 6 is furnished with a double bed and has a shower only; Room 7 is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a spa bath, toilet and basin.
Room 8 was once the blacksmith’s workshop. This large double room is furnished with a king-size bed and includes a sitting area and a full bathroom.
All rooms open onto the garden and include en-suite bathrooms, linen, towels, a bar fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, a fan, a heater, and a hairdryer.
Guests can enjoy breakfast under the vine-covered stoep or beside the fire in cooler months. On-site facilities include an outdoor pool and extensive gardens for relaxation.
The estate is close to wine farms, markets, hiking trails, and historic towns, offering a suitable base for romantic getaways, family holidays, or peaceful retreats.
