Description
New Beginnings offers self-catering accommodation and camping on a small lifestyle farm, just 20 km outside of Montagu, in an undiscovered area called Pietersfontein. Pietersfontein is a small, secure and very friendly farming community, and is ideal for a peaceful getaway.
The New Beginnings Cottage is situated next to the main house but is very private. The cottage can accommodate 4 guests and consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and wash basin. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 three-quarter beds and the additional bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and wash basin.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas-top stove with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room contains a round 4-seater dining table and chairs, couches and a flat-screen TV with DSTV and Netflix. The cottage opens to a private, covered patio with an outdoor dining table and built-in braai facilities. The cottage has a private plunge pool and a lawn area that overlooks a small freshwater dam.
Additionally, there is no cell reception in Pietersfontein but Wi-Fi can be made. There are many wonderful mountain walks, trail runs and mountain biking tracks to be discovered. The accommodation has an additional campsite on the premises.
