Disappointing - Unit needs maintenance. Whilst the geographic location of Olienhuys offers lovely scenery (fields, mountains) and was close to other activities/walks, etc. in the area, in general we were disappointed with the sad state of maintenance of the unit. For example, the handle for one of the taps in the shower came off in your hand – as did the tap of one of the handles of the bath. The hot and cold taps on the handbasin in the bathroom were mislabelled (switched). The security door to the outside/braai area could not lock properly. The curtains in front of the security door could not close. We stayed at five other ( Lekkeslaap booked) units on our recent trip from Gauteng to Clanwilliam and back to Gauteng, but sadly this unit was by far the least satisfactory in terms of value-for-money that we stayed in during our entire trip.
